Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 beef rump steak(s) approx. 200 g each
- some clarified butter
- 1 m.-large gherkin(s)
- 3 mushrooms
- 1 small shallot(s), diced
- 100 ml gravy
- 50 ml cream
- 200 g spaetzle (ready-made product)
- 2 tbsp cheese, grated
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cut the meat into strips and fry in hot clarified butter. Remove from the frying fat and season with salt and pepper. Sauté the diced shallot, sliced mushrooms, and cucumber in the frying fat. Deglaze with the meat juices and cream. Add the meat and simmer for a few minutes. Season again with salt and pepper and transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle with spaetzle and cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15-20 minutes.
