Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 125 g butter, room temperature
- 175 g brown sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 5 small chocolate bars (chocolate coconut bars, Bounty)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 175°C (top and bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until light and fluffy, then add the egg. Combine the flour and baking powder and sift over the butter and sugar mixture. Mix everything together well to form a smooth dough. Chop the chocolate bars into small pieces and stir them into the batter. Use a teaspoon to scoop out small heaps of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Be careful, though: the cookies will spread during baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (fan oven) for about 10 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet, and then enjoy. The Bountys give the cookies a light caramel and coconut flavor. If you like, you can also add some chopped dark chocolate.
