Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 360 g Flour, smooth
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 220 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 45 minutes

Mix the flour, salt, yeast, and sugar. Slowly stir in the water and knead until an elastic dough forms. Cover with a cloth and let stand in a warm place for about 1 hour. Knead the dough again, roll it out, and place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let it rise for another 20 minutes, then make a few indentations in the dough with your finger and drizzle with olive oil. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Let the dough rest for another 10 minutes, then bake for 25 minutes. Let it cool for about 20 minutes before serving.
