Eli's onion and ham bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g spelt flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cane sugar
  • 100 g fried onions
  • 125 g ham, diced
  • 500 ml mineral water
  • 1 tbsp beet syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

without wheat, without yeast, without milk

Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a dough hook until a smooth dough forms. Then pour into a cake pan lined with baking paper and bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 45-50 minutes. Note: This bread was an experiment, as we are required to avoid certain foods for a few weeks due to a naturopathic treatment, such as wheat, yeast, milk, white sugar, etc. The bread was very well received at today’s barbecue, even by all the regular eaters.
