Dana's Sloppy Joe

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g minced pork
  • ½ cup sauce (Bulls Eye barbecue sauce)
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp, crushed garlic granules
  • some salt and pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 5 rolls (hamburger buns)
  • some oil
  • 5 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

American juicy sloppy burger

Cut open the burger buns and toast them in a little butter on the cut side. Cut a slice of Gouda cheese in half on each bun and place half a slice on each burger half (so the buns don’t soak together!). Brown the ground pork with the garlic granules in a little oil (not burger patties; it should have the consistency of Bolognese!), season with salt and pepper. Once cooked through, mix half a cup of ketchup and half a cup of barbecue sauce into the ground pork and continue to simmer briefly. Then simply spread the ground pork mixture onto the burger buns using a tablespoon, place the tomato slices on top, fold over, and serve.
