Oat cookies à la Araya

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 apple
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 50 g chocolate shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and coarsely grate the apple. Melt the butter and mix well with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg. Mix the flour with the baking powder, add it to the egg mixture along with the apple, oats, and chocolate, and mix well. This works best with a dough hook. Using a teaspoon, place small blobs on the baking sheet and flatten them slightly. Bake at 170 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 12-15 minutes, until the cookies are nicely browned. Tip: If you like them chocolatey, simply use more grated chocolate or cover the cookies with chocolate coating. If you like, you can also make a glaze from apple juice and powdered sugar, coat the cookies with it, and add finely chopped dried apple pieces to the wet glaze.
