Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 600 g flour
- ½ cube of yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 400 ml water
- 1 tsp poppy seeds (to taste)
- Fat for the bread pan
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
For oven and bread maker
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, crumble the yeast over the dough, and knead into a smooth dough. Grease the bread pan and, if desired, sprinkle the bottom of the pan with poppy seeds or other ingredients. Pour the dough into the pan and let it rise in the oven at 50°C for about 30 minutes. Then bake for 40 minutes at 200°C. This also works well in a bread maker for loaves up to 1500g. Simply set the machine to the normal, light baking setting according to the instructions.
