Quick Bolognese-style sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 425 g pizza tomatoes
  • 370 g tomato sauce with herbs (tetrapack)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste, more if desired
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • possibly basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onions and sauté in olive oil until translucent. Press in the garlic and sauté as well. Then add the minced meat, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and fry until browned and crumbly. Add the pizza tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste, stir well, and bring to a boil. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano. If desired, you can also add a glass of red wine or fresh basil. Simmer on low heat until the desired consistency is reached. Finally, add a splash of cream, bring back to a boil briefly, and serve.
