Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg apples
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 10 g gingerbread spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

Peel, core, and cut the apples into small pieces. Weigh them and place 1 kg into a large pot. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the apples. Stir the spices and the marzipan, cut into small pieces, into the apples. Finally, stir in the gelling sugar and bring to a boil while stirring. Then boil gently for 3 minutes. Pour the jam into hot, rinsed jars. Seal immediately and turn upside down for 10 minutes.
