Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 16 g yeast (1/3 cube)
  • 200 g milk, cold
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 handfuls of raisins (or more)
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Mix the yeast with 4 tablespoons of milk and the sugar, add the egg, and whisk well. Combine the flour, butter, and salt in a bowl, then add the remaining milk and dissolved yeast. Process until a soft dough forms, then add the raisins. Knead for 10 minutes. Let rise in a bowl in a warm place for about 90 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Pour the dough into a well-greased loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 60-70 minutes.
