Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine or butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g almond(s), chopped
  • 250 g chocolate, dark
  • ¼ liter brandy (Asbach)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a batter with butter or margarine, sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, and chopped almonds. Bake in a bundt pan for approximately 55-60 minutes at 170°-200°C (170°C fan oven, 200°C top and bottom heat, approx. 200°C) (test with a wooden skewer). Allow the cake to cool completely. Then pierce numerous holes in it and pour over the brandy. Finally, cover with melted dark chocolate. The cake should rest in a closed container for a few days to develop its full flavor.
