Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g sunflower margarine
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), chopped
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tsp, leveled caraway seeds
  • some thyme
  • some marjoram
  • possibly rosemary
  • possibly pepper
  • possibly paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

simple, quick, vegan – tastes great on farmer’s or crusty bread, also with Harzer cheese (Handkäse)

Place the finely chopped onion in a small saucepan and fry with a little margarine over medium heat until golden brown. Add the remaining margarine, then salt, caraway seeds, and the remaining spices. After the mixture has simmered for a short time, remove the pan from the heat and stir again just before it cools.
