Poppy seed marble cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 packs of poppy seed baking powder (250 g each)
  • 6 eggs (size M)
  • 6 tbsp eggnog
  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 7 tbsp milk
  • 200 g chocolate coating, milk or dark chocolate

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine poppy seed mixture, 2 eggs, and liqueur. Cream together softened butter, sugar, and salt until creamy. Beat in 4 eggs, one at a time. Combine flour and baking powder, then stir in alternately with the milk. Pour batter and poppy seed mixture into a greased, breadcrumb-coated cake pan. Spoon the poppy seed mixture into the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top and bottom heat) for about 1 hour. Let cool for 10 minutes, turn out, and let cool for about 1 hour. Melt the chocolate coating and drizzle over the cooled cake.
