Strawberry – elderflower syrup – jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 900 g strawberries, peeled and weighed
  • 100 ml syrup (elderflower syrup)
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Hull the strawberries and place them in a saucepan with the syrup. Add the gelling sugar and mix well. Let stand for at least 1 hour. Then bring everything to a boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly. After testing the setting time, pour the mixture into the prepared jars while still hot and seal them immediately.
