Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 20 g tomatoes, dried, chopped
- 1 pinch(s) thyme
- lots of olive oil or clarified butter for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Peel and press the garlic. Mix it with the quark, egg, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Stir in the breadcrumbs, chopped tomatoes, and a pinch of dried thyme and let the mixture swell for about 20 minutes. Shape the mixture into 8 meatballs and fry them over medium heat in plenty of heated olive oil or clarified butter for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve hot.
