Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml milk
  • 20 g semolina (e.g. soft wheat semolina)
  • 10 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp oil or butter for the pan

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Delicious for all children who eat little except pasta with tomato sauce

Bring the milk to a boil, add a pinch of salt and the semolina with the sugar, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil over medium heat for one minute, stirring constantly, then remove the pan from the heat. After about 30 seconds, crack the egg and add it directly to the pan. Add the custard powder and stir both in. Add butter or oil to a hot pan. Fry the batter in small, palm-sized, flat portions in the pan. The amount is per person, but is usually enough for mother and child. Serve with fresh fruit or applesauce. The semolina buns are very popular with young and old and are also great to take cold as a small snack to the playground.
