Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 rolls, stale
- 2 eggs
- 250 ml milk
- Clarified butter
- possibly apples
- possibly cinnamon
- n. B. sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the rolls into thin slices. Whisk the eggs with the milk, pour over the bread slices, and let stand for about 10 minutes. Toast the mixture in a pan. Sprinkle with sugar, if desired. As a variation, add small pieces of apple and season with cinnamon.
