Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 ml milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 75 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 100 g rice pudding
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 500 g strawberries
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
For the rice cream, bring the milk, salt, 50g sugar, and 1 sachet of vanilla sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Add the rice pudding and bring to a boil while stirring. Reduce heat to low and let it swell for about 20 minutes with the lid on, stirring occasionally (the rice should be grainy). Remove the rice from the heat and let it cool. Cover and chill. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold into the cold rice. Pour the rice cream into a bowl and chill. For the strawberry sauce, wash and stem the strawberries. Then puree them completely and mix with 1 sachet of vanilla sugar and 25g sugar. Transfer the strawberry sauce to a separate bowl. Serve the rice cream with the strawberry sauce on the side.
