Nut cake with only three ingredients

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 200 g sugar
  • 10 m.-sized eggs
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

This nut cake is moist and super delicious.

Preheat the oven to 150°C (top/bottom heat). Grease a 26 cm springform pan. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until creamy, stir in the nuts, and fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour the nut dough into the springform pan and bake on the middle rack for 90 minutes. 30 minutes before the end of baking, cover the cake with aluminum foil. Remove the cake from the oven and leave it in the pan for another 10 minutes, then loosen the edges and place the cake on a wire rack. Dust the cooled nut cake with powdered sugar. If you like, you can glaze the cake with 100 g of dark chocolate and 1/4 of a small Palmin cube.
