Spaghetti with ham and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche with herbs
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch chives, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Cut the ham into thin strips or cubes. Chop the onion and lightly fry it in olive oil. Add the ham and finely chopped garlic and sauté briefly. Deglaze with cream and reduce slightly. Season with salt, pepper, parsley, and chives. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the crème fraîche. Pour the cooked spaghetti over the spaghetti and serve. Serve with a green salad and a glass of white wine.
