Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 4 tbsp seedless raisins
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 m.-sized apples, peeled, coarsely grated or chopped
  • 4 tbsp nuts of your choice, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup(s) milk
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Brazilian apple pie

Melt the margarine over low heat. Add the flour, sugar, raisins, salt, nuts, cinnamon, baking powder, melted margarine, beaten eggs, and milk to the coarsely grated apples. Stir everything together and pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan. Bake for approximately 30-40 minutes at 180-200°C (top/bottom heat). Tip: You can dust the cake with powdered sugar or cover it with another glaze (e.g., chocolate). Note: Use a 200-250 ml cup as the measuring cup.
