Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 large can pineapple pieces, drained, juice reserved
- 1 pack of raisins (preferably rum raisins)
- 500 g tagliatelle, cooked (500 g raw weight)
- 1 cup of cream
- 6 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon

Sweet pasta bake
Heat butter in a pan or ovenproof casserole dish and caramelize 4 tablespoons of sugar. Deglaze with pineapple juice and bring to a boil. Add pineapple chunks and raisins and toss briefly. If you were using the pan, transfer the fruit and pasta to a casserole dish and mix well. If you were using the casserole dish, simply stir in the pasta. Whisk the cream, eggs, and vanilla sugar vigorously and pour over the pasta. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven, mix the ½ cup of sugar with the cinnamon, and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the casserole, if desired.
