Simple Plum Cake with Weft

  • Plums
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 65 g Flour
  • 55 g Soft butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Pinches Vanilla sugar
  • 1 kl. pinch Clove powder
  • 1 Shot Whiskey
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C. Wash, core and finely chop the plums.
  2. Beat the sugar and butter until frothy.
  3. Add the egg and whiskey.
  4. Sieve the flour and baking powder. Then put this in as well.
  5. Grease the pan or line it with parchment paper. Put in the batter, put the plums on top and sprinkle with a sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes on the lower rail. Peck the dough with a tooth stick … if no dough sticks, the cake is ready.
  7. I put aluminum foil over the cake about 15 minutes before the end of baking so that it doesn’t get too dark.
