Simple Plum Cake with Weft
The perfect simple plum cake with weft recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- Plums
- 70 g Sugar
- 65 g Flour
- 55 g Soft butter
- 1 Egg
- 0,5 tsp Baking powder
- 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 Pinches Vanilla sugar
- 1 kl. pinch Clove powder
- 1 Shot Whiskey
- 1 pinch Salt
- Preheat the oven to 180 C. Wash, core and finely chop the plums.
- Beat the sugar and butter until frothy.
- Add the egg and whiskey.
- Sieve the flour and baking powder. Then put this in as well.
- Grease the pan or line it with parchment paper. Put in the batter, put the plums on top and sprinkle with a sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Bake for about 40 minutes on the lower rail. Peck the dough with a tooth stick … if no dough sticks, the cake is ready.
- I put aluminum foil over the cake about 15 minutes before the end of baking so that it doesn’t get too dark.
