Colorful cookies as a baking mix

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • 75 g sugar, white
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 90 g candy (M&Ms or other colored chocolate chips)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

great as a gift, as a souvenir

Mix the flour with the baking powder and a pinch of salt. Then pour the ingredients one by one into a nice jar and add the following instructions (attach or label): “Empty the contents of the jar into a bowl and mix with one egg and 150g of softened butter to form a dough. Form about 20-25 balls, place them on a baking sheet, leaving plenty of space between them, and flatten slightly. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 7 minutes. The cookies may still be a little raw in the middle, but this will give them the perfect consistency. Enjoy!” I use a simple 750ml mason jar. The jar should have approximately this capacity. A large Nutella jar works well, too, but I don’t think the lid is quite as attractive. But you could wrap it with some fabric if necessary. For the chocolate chips, M&Ms work a bit better than Smarties, as they retain their color better during baking. This mix is a quick and individual gift that has always been very well received.
