Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
topped with feta cheese
Pound the schnitzels well, season with pepper and salt. Then, to coat them, first coat them in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. If you prefer a crispier finish, you can use crushed cornflakes instead of breadcrumbs. Fry the breaded schnitzels in a little clarified butter. Do not let them get too brown, as they will continue to cook in the oven. Wash and dice the bell pepper, peel and slice the onion. Slice the feta cheese. Place the fried schnitzels in a casserole dish or on a baking sheet. Spread the feta cheese on top, then arrange the diced bell pepper and sliced onion on top. Sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese and sprinkle with paprika to taste. Bake in the oven at 180°C for approx. 7-10 minutes.
