Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 bell peppers of your choice, cut into strips
  • 1 pack of sausages (pepper mushrooms)
  • 500 g rice (paraboiled rice)
  • 1 liter of salt water
  • 4 carrots
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

A quick dish for little money, ideal for student cooking. Pepperlings are sausages, not mushrooms!

First, cook the rice in salted water as usual to save time. Meanwhile, chop the carrots and sausages and add them to a hot pan with a little oil to make them crispier. After about 5-7 minutes, add the sliced bell pepper and let it simmer over medium heat. Once the bell pepper is cooked, add the rice. Season with salt and pepper, and you’re done. Tip: A very large pan is best for mixing everything together without stress.
