Chocolate Toffifee Muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 80 ml oil
  • 300 g buttermilk
  • 12 pieces of confectionery (Toffifee)
  • Butter, for greasing
  • 100 g chocolate coating
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with surprise effect, for 12 muffins

Grease the muffin tin thoroughly, otherwise the Toffifee will stick to the bottom. Whisk the eggs with the sugar, oil, and buttermilk. Carefully stir in the flour, almonds, cocoa, and baking powder. Pour the batter into the muffin tins and gently press one whole Toffifee into each one. It will sink into the batter during baking, creating a little surprise when eating. Bake at 160°C for 20 minutes, then let it rest briefly in the tin and remove immediately. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath and decorate the muffins as desired.
