Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g sugar
- 125 g margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 500 g apples (thinly sliced)
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs, including the yolk
- 100 g flour
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 200 g hazelnuts, ground
- 4 eggs, of which the egg whites
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Make a shortcrust pastry from the first ingredients listed, spread it into a springform pan, and top with thin apple slices. Mix the remaining ingredients one at a time until a sponge cake forms. Spread evenly over the apples. Bake at 170°C for approximately 60 minutes. Let cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes. (Tip: Don’t open the oven door too early, or the cake will collapse.)
