Ingredients for 7 servings:

  • 1 liter of Coke
  • 400 ml orange juice
  • 1 can tomato(s), finely chopped
  • 2 packs of tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 7 tbsp curry
  • 3 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp herbs (8 herb mix) frozen
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 100 g butter
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 3 packs of grilled sausages

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

Chop the onion and garlic into small pieces and fry in butter until translucent. Then add a little tomato paste and fry briefly. Deglaze with cola and reduce by 1/3. Then add the tomatoes and orange juice and bring to a boil. Now add the herbs, curry, paprika, and honey and let the whole thing simmer for a good hour, seasoning with salt and pepper. 20 minutes before the sauce is ready, fry the sausages, chop them up, add the prepared sauce, bring everything together briefly to a boil, and serve with fries.
