My healthy everyday tea

Bring the water to a boil. Place the herbs, preferably those you gathered yourself, in a sieve. Crumble the hawthorn with your fingers. Pour boiling water over the tea (makes one large teacup) and let it steep for at least 8 minutes. If you only have small teacups, use only half the amount of herbs. It’s best to drink it unsweetened; otherwise, sweeten as needed. Hawthorn is a heart-healthy herb. Elderberry promotes the elimination of toxins and is a diuretic.
