Steak with salsa

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 2 spring onions
  • 5 tbsp chili sauce, sweet and hot
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • some salt
  • 4 steaks (pork neck), 250 g each
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean the bell pepper and dice very finely. Clean the spring onions and finely dice the white part. Mix both with the sweet and spicy chili sauce and lemon juice and season with a little salt. Slice the light green part of the spring onions diagonally into thin rings and sprinkle them over the salsa just before serving. Drizzle the pork neck steaks with oil and rub them all over, season with salt, and cook in a hot griddle or on the grill for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Serve with the salsa. Serve with baguette or flatbread.
