Pasta with kohlrabi and ham sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g kohlrabi
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 150 ml milk
  • 250 g farfalle or cups
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 100 g cream cheese (optionally with herbs)
  • salt and pepper
  • a few stalks of parsley
  • possibly sauce thickener, light

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and dice the kohlrabi. Bring to a boil with the stock and milk, then cover and simmer until tender but still firm to the bite. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Cut the ham into short strips. Wash the parsley, pat dry, and finely chop. Stir everything into the kohlrabi along with the cream cheese. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, thickening with a light sauce thickener if desired. Serve the sauce with the pasta. Serve with a green salad.
