Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork schnitzels (ham schnitzels, preferably butterfly steaks)
  • 4 slice(s) cheese (Gouda), large, thickly sliced
  • 8 slices of Black Forest ham
  • 2 packs of hollandaise sauce (200 g each)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash the ham schnitzel and pat dry. Layer it in a greased baking dish as follows: 1 ham schnitzel, 2 slices of ham, cheese, ham schnitzel, ham, cheese, etc. Preheat the oven to 180°C and cook the schnitzel for about 45 minutes. Then drizzle with hollandaise sauce and continue cooking for about 20 minutes at just 100°C. This pairs best with boiled potatoes and a fresh salad with oil and vinegar.
