Tortellini casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g tortellini
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 ml red wine or meat broth
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 200 g tomato paste
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme
  • Cheese, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the tortellini. Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Add the red wine, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and cream. Mix the tortellini and sauce, place in a baking dish, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 45 minutes. If you don’t like red wine, you can substitute it with 250 ml of meat broth.
