Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg chicken breast
  • 200 g cream
  • some milk
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 150 g Gouda, preferably grated
  • 75 g Parmesan, grated
  • 2 tbsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Vegetable stock powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

simply

Preheat the oven to 150°C (top/bottom heat). Pat the chicken breast dry with a kitchen towel, then season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. Fry the meat in a hot pan until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and place it in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the breast. Reduce the oven temperature to 100°C (212°F). Add the cream, processed cheese, Gouda, and Parmesan to the used pan. Melt everything and adjust the consistency with milk to taste. Now add the herbs and butter to the sauce, then season to taste with a little broth and, if desired, pepper or salt. I cook it with pasta, but rice should also go well.
