Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 packs of chicory
- butter
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Pattileins baked chicory
Clean the chicory and remove the bitter part. Boil salted water and cook until al dente. Sprinkle breadcrumbs into a baking dish and place a layer of chicory on top. Stretch the chicory out slightly so it fills the dish. Then sprinkle more breadcrumbs and a few knobs of butter on top, and so on. Finally, add more breadcrumbs and a few knobs of butter to make the dish less dry. Then put the whole thing in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius until the butter has melted. Serve with a green salad.
