Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 handful of lovage
  • 1 handful of celery leaves
  • 200 g salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

ideal for soups and stews

Roughly chop the leaves. Layer the leaves and salt in a tall container. Then puree everything with a hand blender until the herbs have turned into green salt. Place the fresh salt on a newspaper in the sun or a dry place and let it dry. Stored in a pretty tin or jar, it not only keeps well but also makes a truly original souvenir.
