Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 m.-sized eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 pack of chocolate pudding powder (for cooking)
- 10 g flour
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 50 g hazelnuts, ground
- 650 g cream
- Chocolate flakes or coarsely grated chocolate (amount to taste)
- Chocolate sprinkles, coated
- eggnog
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff, then carefully fold in the egg yolks. Sift the pudding powder with the flour and baking powder and fold in loosely along with the nuts. Pour the mixture into a star-shaped cake pan and bake at 200°C for approx. 12-15 minutes, then let it cool. Whip the cream until stiff, take 400g of it, carefully fold in the chocolate flakes, and spread it over the base. Lightly trace the diagonal lines with a knife. Transfer the remaining cream to a piping bag and use it to finely pipe the edges and the drawn lines. This will create 8 large diamond shapes. Alternately fill the diamond shapes with coated chocolate sprinkles and eggnog. For an even more Christmassy look, place four wafer rolls in the center of the cake and place a peeled almond into each roll as the tip.
