Oranges in rum

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 oranges
  • 125 g sugar (white rock candy)
  • 0.1 liters of water
  • 20 pistachios
  • ¼ liter rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Carefully peel the oranges and remove the segments. Layer them with the pistachios in a sealable jar. Boil the rock candy in water until dissolved. Mix the cooled sugar mixture with rum and fill the jar. Let the fruit steep for about 4 weeks.
