Crispy tuna

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can tuna, in oil
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 25 g butter
  • 25 g flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, black, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Drain the tuna oil into a pan. Sauté the onions in the oil until softened. Tear the tuna into pieces and place it in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the onions over the onions. Arrange the tomato slices on top. Combine the butter, milk, and flour in a saucepan and heat gently, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Simmer for one minute. Stir in 70g of cheese and season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the tomatoes. Mix the breadcrumbs and the remaining cheese and sprinkle over the casserole. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until the cheese and breadcrumbs form a nice crust (approx. 10-15 minutes). Serve hot. Serve with a nice salad for a quick and delicious dinner.
