Baked tuna sandwiches

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls
  • 1 can tuna in oil
  • 2 bell peppers, roasted, pickled
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • n. B. Chives, cut into rolls
  • 4 slice(s) cheese of your choice, it should melt well

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut open the rolls, hollowing out some of the insides if necessary. Drain the peppers thoroughly and cut them in half. Place one half on each roll. Finely chop the capers and onion. Drain the tuna liquid, mash the tuna slightly with a fork, and mix well with the lemon juice, onions, capers, and chives. Spread this mixture on the four roll halves and top each with a slice of cheese (grated cheese is also fine). Bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) until the cheese has melted.
