With ham, easy and quick

Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Finely chop the onions and garlic cloves and sauté in a pan until translucent. Cut the ham into cubes approximately 1 x 1 cm in size, add to the pan and also brown lightly. Season the ham with salt and pepper. Deglaze with the cream. Add the passata, season well with salt and pepper, and bring everything to a boil. Add the thyme and chives. When the gnocchi are ready, transfer them to a baking dish. Stir half of the mozzarella into the sauce until the cheese has melted. Spread the sauce over the gnocchi and cover with the remaining mozzarella. Bake in the oven at approximately 180°C for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
