Cheese – Ham – Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml milk, lukewarm
  • ½ cube of yeast
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 60 g butter, soft or margarine
  • 200 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • 100 g ham, diced, lean, raw
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk. Mix the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast, milk, and butter. Knead everything into a smooth dough and let it rise for about 30-45 minutes. Mix the cream cheese and cream until smooth. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Knead the yeast dough and roll it out into a rectangle approximately 30 x 40 cm. Spread the cream cheese on top. Distribute the ham cubes and cheese on top. Roll the dough up from the long side. Cut into approximately 3 cm wide pieces. Place these cut-side down in a greased 26 cm springform pan. Let the cake rise for another 15 minutes and then bake for about 25 minutes. Tastes best warm.
