Dessert: Nutty Banana Slices

The floor

  • 200 g Dry chocolate cookies
  • 100 g Unsalted peanuts
  • 100 g Butter

The chocolate and caramel filling

  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 150 g Mascarpone
  • 10 g Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled
  • 200 ml Cream

  • 2 piece Fresh bananas
  • 100 g Peanuts chopped and unsalted

The floor

  1. Put the biscuits and nuts in a blender jar and roughly chop. Melt the butter and mix it with the biscuit and nut mixture. Press the mixture into a baking dish and let it solidify in the refrigerator.

The chocolate and caramel layer

  1. Mix the mascarpone with the cocoa powder. Heat butter and sugar in a saucepan and let melt while stirring constantly. After a while, the mass begins to boil and slowly turns brown. Then stir in the mascarpone and cocoa mixture and let it cool completely.
  2. Whip the cream and fold into the cold caramel mixture.

The finish

  1. Spread half of the cream on the nut base. Cut the peeled bananas into slices and spread them on the cream layer. Cover everything with the second half of the cream and sprinkle with the chopped peanuts.
  2. Chill until ready to serve.
