Dessert: Semolina Slices with Whipped Cream

  • 75 g Semolina
  • 0,5 l Milk
  • 4 El Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 50 g Meringue crumbs
  • 200 ml Cream
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in 40g of meringue crumbs and serve with the semolina. Pour the remaining meringue crumbs over the cuts.
  2. Bring the milk with the sugar and a pinch of salt to the boil, stir in the semolina and let it thicken. Separate an egg and stir the yolks into the semolina, beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the semolina, put everything in a baking dish, cover and refrigerate.
  3. Beat an egg, cut the cold semolina into pieces, then turn first in egg and then in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
