Banana Dessert (Arno Funke)
The perfect banana dessert (arno funke) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 12 piece Baby bananas
- 80 g Butter
- 80 g Palm sugar
- 2 piece Kumquats
- 2 piece Oranges
- 1 piece Lime
- 50 ml Orange liqueur
- 20 ml High proof rum
- Peel and halve the small bananas. Melt 40 g butter in a pan, fry the bananas briefly and keep warm.
- Melt the remaining butter and add the palm sugar with two sliced kumquats. Deglaze with the juice of 2 oranges and a lime and reduce for two to three minutes.
- Add the orange liqueur with rum, hold the pan at an angle and light it with due care. (Do not hold your face over the pan!)
- Let it burn out. Return the banana halves to the pan. Heat very briefly and then serve immediately. Vanilla ice cream goes well with it.
