Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 flatbread(s), thin (pide)
  • 2 points meat (doner meat), frozen or fresh from the spit
  • 1 cup sour cream with herbs
  • 1 pack of grated cheese
  • 3 tomatoes, diced
  • some tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Prepare the frozen meat according to the package instructions. Add the sour cream, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes and simmer briefly. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in a handful of grated cheese. Line the bottom of a baking dish with pide. Spread the first layer of meat on top. Cover with another layer of pide and spread the remaining meat on top. Then top with grated cheese (amount to taste). The meat should be covered with cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 175°C.
