Potato pan with Brussels sprouts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • salt water
  • 300 g pork
  • 3 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 500 g potatoes, boiled
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 ml cream
  • Parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Trim and wash the Brussels sprouts, then cut a cross into the stem. Cook the Brussels sprouts in salted water for about 7 minutes. Cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces and sear in hot oil, then remove. Reserve the cooking fat. Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and sear in the cooking fat. Drain the Brussels sprouts, add them to the potatoes, and cook for about 5 minutes. Now add the flesh, season with salt, parsley, and pepper, and deglaze with cream. Continue cooking briefly, then serve.
