Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg plum(s), pitted
  • 1 ½ kg sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 jar brandy

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 40 minutes

Put 1500 kg of the pitted plums through a blender. Mix with the remaining halved plums, the sugar, and the other ingredients. Place in a large, watered earthenware pot and place in the oven at 200°C for about 4 hours, stirring occasionally, 3 to 4 times.
